Design
My father taught me that "previous planning prevents piss-poor performance;" so, before we jump into organizing, I often take notes, sketch out the room, and discuss the game plan so everyone's on the same page.

With a plan in place, we will sort what you want to save from what you want to get rid of. At the end of these sessions, I am happy to take items to donate or consign (given I have the space needed).

With the unwanted items out of the house, we can organize what's left into a functional and aesthetic system.
